The K-Series Idle Air Control Valve Block-Off Plate provides a solution to eliminate the IACV on 2002-2006 Acura RSX (DC5) and 2002-2005 Honda Civic Si (EP3) throttle bodies. This plate also fits the many aftermarket throttle bodies designed for those vehicles' engines (K20A, K20A2, K20A3, K20Z1). Idle air control valve removal may help with radiator and radiator fan interference issues, along with cleaning up the engine bay. This block-off plate may also be useful with intake manifolds that do not have idle air porting provisions (such as RRC and RSP manifolds). The only requirement for utilizing the MAP K-Series Idle Air Control Valve Block-Off Plate is Hondata K-Pro (or an equivalent programmable ECU) to disable stock function of the IACV.
